(i) Find the equivalent resistance between A and B.

ii. State whether the resistivity of a wire changes with the change in the thickness of the wire.

Answer

(i) R1 = (6×3)/(6+3) = 2 Ω

Or R2 = (4×12)/(4+12) = 3 Ω

R = 2 + 3 = 5 Ω

(ii) No, it does not change.
