i. Calculate the total amount of GST paid. ii. The total bill amount including GST paid by Mr. Bedi.

Answer

1. Medicine: GST = 5 / 100× 950 = ₹ 47.50
2. Shoes: GST = 18/100 × 3000 = ₹ 540
3. Laptop Bag: Discounted price = 1000 – 30/100 × 1000 = ₹ 700
   ∴ GST = 18/100 × 700 = ₹ 126
   ∴ Total GST = ₹ 47.50 + ₹ 540 + ₹ 126 = ₹ 713.50
   ∴ Total Bill = 950 + 3000 +700 + 713.50 = ₹ 5363.50
